Safeway trip on 2/23/09

After my walmart trip we went to Safeway. Here I did some good damage as well:

2-pediasure bars 4.00

2.60lbs of oranges 1.77
2-fresh express salads 2.00
1-32oz bottle of budweiser (my fiance dserved this after dealing with 2 stores and tons of shopping lol). 2.89

Total was 103.28

Coupons used:

1.00/2 fresh express salads
1.62 dr.pepper coupons
2-free coupons for the kens dressing
3-bar s coupons .25 (all doubled so 1.50 off total)
3.99 off for the kashi cereal bars
2-5.0/2 ragu sauce coupons doubled 2.00/4
1-.50/1 ragu sauce doubled to .49 so this one was FREE
2-progresso soup coupons 1.10/1 so 2.20/2 off
2-2.00/1 pediasure coupons so these were FREE

Total savings (club card and coupons) 62.28 thats 61%!!!

Total out of pocket: 41.00

Again my fiance was scared about the total before the coupons and card were scanned. Then his mouth dropped as the cashier told us the total. He was so happy! The cashier and manager both commented on my coupon binder. As we left the store my fiance smiled and I was like what? He goes nope Im not gonna say it cause you already know. I was like no say it I need to hear it lol. He saiys "your good with coupons" I was like yeah I know lol. So I think he saw the light with using coupons. I have given him poo all week for the spaghetti sauce he paid 3.00 a jar for and he was so sick of me bringing it up by today he was happy to let ME do the shopping.

Again I owe all my savings credit to AFC! Without this site I wouldnt be able to save as much. I would never have thought about the pediasure cereal bars one lady noticed it and told us. Thats what AFC is all about. Sharing the info. So what are you waiting for come join us!!
